Lexus has announced that the 2024 GX will be coming soon. As part of the announcement they shared two teaser photos.

Looks like they're playing up the GX's off-roading capability with the mud and rain in the photos.

Good teaser! I've never been a big fan of the current GX and the "current" GX has been around so long that I'd stopped even thinking about it. This looks great though!
The one major good thing I can say about the outgoing GX is that I do like that there's still a luxury SUV that has legit off-road chops and doesn't cost six-figures. I'm trusting they'll hold the line on price and if it ends up looking as good as these early peeks suggest, I could be a convert.

Not that I could ever afford one.
Great to see design from the new LX here.

The new LX is nice but not so much compared to its rivals, GX on the other hand will.

It'll be interesting to see what the powertrain options will be because I think it'll be the same as the Sequoia where Toyota/Lexus ditch the V8 and give it the iForce MAX hybrid V6.

The apparent inevitability of this powertrain for the new GX makes me extra hopeful we'll see it eventually in a range-topping Tacoma.

Yeah I don't think there's a chance we'll see the V8 in the GX. It's all about V6's, 4 cylinders, and hybrids/EVs now.

At least that isn't the end of the world anymore. That twin turbo V6 in the Tundra is a serious engine.
Lexus announced today that the GX is going to debut on June 8th at 8:00 pm eastern.

Back to say this continues to look really cool. Not in my price bracket, but I'm pumped to see what they do here and how it might trickle down to the 4-Runner and rumored Land Cruiser Prado for North America
