This has never been my favorite of the Rivian's "Quirks and Features," but it's a nice addition for the camping/overlanding communities.

It seems apparent in the dashboard shot that the Tacoma will have a centre screen setup very similar to the Tundra. I like that design!

I also love the green paint on the hood.
Cool.

The JBL sound system in my Tundra is excellent for a factory system, so that is another plus. So many cars and trucks come with Bose systems which generally are very poor.

Funny, right? Bose is always sold as such a top notch system... but it isn't always.

For years BMW offered two different Bose systems and the base one was terrible.
My wife has an Infinity SUV with a supposedly premium Bose system and the JBL system in my truck puts it to shame.

They used to be a top notch company but they sold out so they can sell millions of OEM "upgrade" systems.

Glad to see Toyota is still on board with JBL, which is one more plus for the new Taco.

ARB bumpers, Fox shocks and JLB sound. It looks like Toyota is really doing the new Tacoma right.

Bose speakers and headphones for personal use are great, Bose speakers for cars are pretty meh compared to others.

I like the Rivian speaker they have haha. But I think what Toyota is doing is a better use of space in the dashboard than what Rivian has done putting it in the middle between the seats.
I wonder if in the lower specs without the JBL system if that space will get a non-removable speaker, or nothing at all.
I'm kinda hoping for a dash-top storage tray.
Good question. I don't really need the removable speaker because I have several portable JBL bluetooth speakers already. But it is a cool and innovative approach from normally conservative Toyota. It may be the only speaker configuration with the JBL sound system and I definitely want that. A storage try would be cool too.
