On first glance the TRD PreRunner and TRD Sport seem like they're right up my alley. Maybe the TRD Off-Road as well depending on the price.

PreRunner is RWD only, right? I'm having some trouble keeping them straight. It looks awesome, but I think I need 4wd so will probably consider a TRD Off-Road or TRD Sport. The Limited's AWD setup seems tempting, but I'm guessing it will be pricy and I don't like the chrome
Lots and lots of choices, and that is the beauty of the new Taco. So many flavors and at least one is bound to be perfect for you.

Yeah the PreRunner is a RWD model.

Yeah the PreRunner is a RWD model.

It is nice that Toyota gave it a locking rear differential even as a RWD. I really want to see how the PreRunner performs off road.
Great video.
The PreRunner is so cool. If I lived in the southwest I would love to have one of these. I don't think I can justify the rwd for all the winter driving I do, but it's still tempting.
Here's another good visual overview of all the available trims for 2024:
