What do you think about this list of reasons for why the Tundra will be better than the Ford Maverick and why it might not. I'd much rather have the Tacoma over the Maverick.

5 ways the Tundra will be better than the Maverick:
  • Redesigned exterior and interior
  • More powerful electric and hybrid powertrain
  • Updated interior and infotainment system
  • New Trailhunter off-road trim
  • Bigger and roomier
5 ways the Maverick is a Tacoma Nemesis:
  • Exceptional mileage
  • Anticipated plug-in hybrid
  • Outstanding value for money
  • Off-road Tremor variant
  • Impressive driver-assist features.

I don't really think you can compare the two trucks.

The Maverick is smaller, less capable and basically an SUV with a bed. The only other compact truck that can be compared to a Maverick is the Hyundai Santa Cruz.

The Tacoma is larger and a real body on frame truck with much greater off road potential. It also has Toyota reliability which neither the Ford nor the Hyundai can come anywhere close to matching.

I completely agree, Toyota build quality on the Tacoma over the years is invaluable. The Maverick seems like a fine vehicle, especially at the price. But as a proper truck there's no comparison.
