Like the Tacoma, The Ranger Raptor will also have Fox Suspension.
The Ranger Raptor will come with 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shocks.
This latest 2024 Toyota Tacoma teaser reveals a few more details about the redesigned mid-size pickup, including the fact that it will utilize rear disc brakes, but also Fox shocks – just like the Ranger Raptor. In this case, those units are labeled with TRD Pro branding and “QS3,” a type of shock that isn’t currently available in the Fox catalog, but typically refer to units that are adjustable. By comparison, the Ranger Raptor is equipped with Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shocks.
The wheel present on this particular pickup looks a lot like the one that comes equipped on the current-gen TRD Pro, and features “TRD” script in its center cap, along with a set of all-terrain tires. Previous teasers surrounding the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro also revealed that it will be available with a hybrid powertrain, too. While some recent patent drawings may have already revealed the exterior design of the 2024 Tacoma, a new variant dubbed the “Trailhunter” was also teased by the automaker, previewing what seems to be an overlanding-focused model.
