The 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro takes its go-fast, desert running attributes to new heights with a range of exciting upgrades. Designed to tackle the toughest terrains with ease, the TRD Pro model offers enhanced performance and an aggressive stance.
The front geometry of the TRD Pro is optimized with red aluminum front TRD upper control arms, reducing unsprung weight and improving front-end dynamics. The suspension system is further enhanced with Fox internal bypass 2.5-inch manual modal Quick Switch 3 (QS3) shocks. These shocks can be adjusted to three different settings via dials on the shock bodies, allowing drivers to fine-tune compression damping for a personalized off-road experience.
To handle gnarly terrains, the TRD Pro features FOX Internal Floating Piston (IFP) bump stops. These bump stops work in conjunction with the new multilink rear suspension to absorb impacts and provide a smoother ride, even on rough terrain.
In terms of aesthetics, the TRD Pro boasts a more menacing stance than ever before. It sits two inches higher in the front and an inch and a half higher in the rear compared to the Tacoma SR5.
