I want to run 35s and will likely have to get a 3-inch lift kit so there's enough clearance. Rough Country is probably where I will source the lift kit from.
Haven't decided on tires yet.

Rough country does some darn good work for sure. I think a 3-inch lift will suit this Tacoma nicely.I want to run 35s and will likely have to get a 3-inch lift kit so there's enough clearance. Rough Country is probably where I will source the lift kit from.

Additional lights are up there for me, along with getting the Tacoma set up for towing. Can't wait to see that!
My plans are less ambitious: First, truck nuts (kidding!). Second some accessory lighting for camping.
Yeah I hope all the towing setup stuff can be done from the factory or the dealer. One less thing to worry about in the aftermarket.I'm hoping we can get the Tacoma set up for towing from the factory. I can even hope for an integrated trailer brake controller in some models, which other truck makers have started to offer on their top trims.
My 2011 Tundra came with an excellent trailer tow package including a haul mode for the transmission, a transmission oil cooler and temp gauge, plus full rear wiring connections and a receiver hitch mounted to the frame.
Let's hope Toyota can offer us something like this on the next gen Taco.
